A list of genres often misses what makes a shelf personal. A novel, a history book, and a scientific argument can bring a reader back to a similar question in very different ways. Readprint aims to make those connections specific enough to consider, question, and sometimes recognize.
The portrait is the central experience. Recommendations are optional, and the illustrated cover is a way to share the interpretation—not a replacement for its evidence.
What the app does today
Readprint accepts one to six shelf photos or e-reader library screenshots, recognizes the books, and asks you to confirm the list. You can then purchase an AI reading portrait, generate its illustrated cover, and request three next-book recommendations.
The app and recognition are free. Each full portrait is a separate, one-time in-app purchase: $2.99 in the US, with local pricing shown before purchase. There is no subscription and no account to create. Readprint is not a reading tracker, an e-reader account synchronization service, or a personality diagnosis.
How to read our examples
The 30-book portrait and Hume-inspired cover on this website come from the same fictional demo used to illustrate the app. They are not a customer testimonial or an accuracy benchmark. The bookshelf photo in the input guide belongs to the founder and is a separate input illustration.
AI can make mistakes. Your confirmed books are evidence of reading choices, not proof of your life story, beliefs, or mental health. A historical cover is an intellectual echo, not a likeness match or an endorsement by that person.
Privacy and support
You choose what to submit and what to share. The app asks for consent to AI processing. The website’s optional analytics remains off unless you allow it; declining does not stop you from using the website or opening the App Store.
